Netflix TV personality Xanthi Perdikomatis has starred on hugely popular shows such as The Circle and Perfect Match.
Xanthi joins us on Close-Up Culture to talk about her reality TV experiences, her favourite memories from The Circle and Perfect Match, her exciting plans for the future, and much more.

Hi Xanthi, welcome to Close-Up Culture. What was your entryway into the world of Netflix reality TV?
I fell in love with Netflix’s The Circle during COVID. I was in love with the concept of the game, and really enjoyed the show. I decided to send in an audition tape for The Circle and just a few weeks later ended up getting casted, and headed straight to the UK. The Circle was definitely a fun way of getting into the world of Netflix reality TV.
What insight can you give us into Netflix reality TV and how you’ve found these experiences?
I would say Netflix reality TV is one big, crazy family. The industry is huge, but very small at the same time! We have gatherings, events, shows, and just multiple ways of always trying to bring us all together. Working with Netflix reality TV is one of the best things I could ask for, and they offer a lot of support and guidance in your career. The Circle and Perfect match were definitely two very different experiences for me, but I learned a ton of different things from both shows, and can appreciate all the fun I had while filming. It’s definitely a lot of work and pressure filming for reality TV, but also a great way to engage with different people all around the world!
What have been your fondest memories of appearing on The Circle and Perfect Match?
I think meeting everyone at the finale on The Circle was one of my favorite memories. It was so interesting to see who was actually playing themselves, versus who was cat fishing. We all totally forgot about the game we just played, and were just so excited to finally get to meet one another in person.
During Perfect Match, we had the BEST time after filming. We were finally allowed to meet up with everyone and just enjoy being in Mexico! We partied, had dinners, and enjoyed the beach; almost like a mini vacation. I’m super grateful to have met some of my other cast members whom I am still very good friends with til this day.
What reality show would you love to appear on in the future?
I honestly love my competition shows! I think they’re super fun, and I’m pretty competitive. I really enjoy trying new things and the thrill of a good challenge!
What are your dreams beyond reality TV?
I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, so I always knew I wanted to be involved with TV. I am working towards new goals that allow me to explore all of my options in the industry. I love to entertain, and host, so we will see where all the hard work takes me!
What is next for you?
At the moment, I am working on a ton of new and exciting things, and I can’t wait to be able to share them all!
