Vevo have today (4 June) released Courtney Barnett’s live performances of Everybody Here Hates You and Small Talk.
Flanked by Bones Sloane (bass) and Dave Mudie (drums), the Aussie singer is in vibrant form against a black hole backdrop as she delivers her endearingly personal and acerbic lyrics while showing off her wondrous lefty guitar skills. Barnett, who is currently on tour and heading Stateside next week, also throws in a trademark body slump (towards the end of Everybody Here Hates You) and a few infectious grins as she sings about the possibility of becoming a ‘cool auntie’ (at the start of Small Talk).
