Klaudia Nicole Pietras is an actress, singer, model and YouTuber with big dreams for the future. Close-up Culture’s James Prestridge chatted to the young star about her career so far and what she has in store for the future.
Q: You are involved in so much at a young age. Were you born with a passion for performing or was there a moment or person that inspired to you go in this direction?
A: Well, I think my passion for all things in this world comes from my mum. She has a lot of style, talks about fashion, is very creative and has a lot of ideas. At the age of seven, I started in the fashion world doing my first photoshoots.
Q: You are on Musically, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. What do you enjoy about these different platforms?
A: I love connecting with all my fans and being in touch with people from all over the world. I get very happy when people like my posts and support me in all that I do. I especially like when they suggest topics for my new videos because that helps me put out enjoyable content.
Q: What do you think is the key behind your early success is?
A: I think the most important thing is consistency and being active on social media. Of course, the quality of the posts is still important.
Also, I think you need to maintain contact with your fans, not just publish a picture and then wait for the likes to follow. You need to listen to your fans, their opinions are very important because they can reveal the best way to grow.
Q: Obviously on Instagram we see a lot of your fashion and modelling shoots. Do you have a favourite shoot or memory of modelling that you can share with us?
A: All the shoots are different and all of them give me good memories and new experiences. But if I need to choose, I will pick my first shoot ever. Why? It is simple, it was the first time I experienced the nerves of being in front of a professional camera. It was very fun and, at that moment, I knew I wanted to continue with all of this.
Also, I love the photoshoots with my little sister because we always have a great time together.
Q: When you are not online, how do you relax and enjoy yourself?
A: I have a passion for singing and music in general. I love to sing and play guitar.
I also dance shuffle, although I prefer to do it with my sister rather than alone! I like to draw. Whenever I have inspiration, I grab a piece of paper and start to draw – I sometimes even enter them into contests.
I love sport. I play volleyball and I try to think of new techniques in my free time. I also practice gymnastics. Maybe in the near future, you’ll be able to see my gymnastics videos on my Instagram posts.
And, obviously, I hang out with my friends and go shopping with them.
Q: You are also multi-lingual. Do you want to work in across the globe and in different cultures when you get older?
A: I don’t know yet what I want to be in the future. I have a lot of ideas but no clear one. What I do know for sure is that I want to travel around the world and put my language skills to use in different cultures.
Q: Do you look up to or aspire to anyone? Is there anyone in particular you would love to work with in the future?
A: I would love to meet lots of new people, not necessarily famous people, but interesting people who I can learn from.
Q: What is your favourite song, film and tv show?
A: I don’t have a favourite song, but I have a lot of favourite artists, such as Ariana Grande, Cardi B and Ed Sheeran. My favourite films are the Harry Potter series. I actually prefer the books, but the films are very well done and I love the special effects.
In terms of TV shows, lately I have been watching The Good Doctor and it is a lot of fun. I watch Netflix series too.
Q: You still have your whole career ahead you, but do you ever think about your future and ambitions?
A: I want people to hear me sing because that is what I love to do. I want to keep learning languages and travel all around the world.
Q: Do you have any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
A: I recorded an advertisement last month and it will be on TV soon. I also have some photoshoots with international photographers.
